Our History

Jeffrey David Steinbacher is an entrepreneur, established innovator, and service provider for the model toy train industry. J.D.S. Limited Productions LLC started in early 2004, in a closet space in Jeffrey's dorm room while attending Johnson & Wales University in Providence RI. Initially an established culinary school graduate, Jeffrey found the train bug bit him again later in life after working in the fine dining sector of the culinary industry. Jeffrey was formerly a lead technician at M.T.H. Electric Trains headquarters in Columbia, MD.

For 11 years, JDS Limited Productions LLC has been closed as  Jeffrey returned to Penn State University, pursuing and completing an engineering degree. Jeffrey was a lead PLC/Maintenance mechanic for Kelloggs/Kellanova corporate. This site is now back up and serves as reference for limited services, products, and sales of custom projects!
